Project: Pilot Channel Rehab
Project Characteristics: Ensolum’s Environmental Construction and Compliance Services division was recently engaged to consult for turnkey services regarding the improvement of a detention pilot channel’s functionality and effectiveness as originally designed. The goal of the pilot channel remediation work ensures the channel will function optimally by meeting the original design criteria.
Once existing vegetation was removed, our team discovered the current toe elevation did not match the original design. Our client elected to use existing site spoils where needed to achieve correct drainage elevation(s). Final grading requirements were met as a result of the project.
